Cookie Policy

Cookies and device storage

How KILINIKI HMIS uses cookies and your browser's storage, and how you can control them.

1. Summary

KILINIKI HMIS uses only the cookies needed to sign you in securely and keep your session safe. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies.

One optional feature, Remember this workstation, stores your facility and email on your device, but only if you tick it.

2. What we use

Strictly necessary cookies are set because the service cannot work securely without them. They contain a random identifier, not your health or personal details.

3. What we do not use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies.
  • No third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
  • No third-party fonts or scripts on the sign-in page; these are served from the KILINIKI HMIS servers.
  • No sale or sharing of cookie data.

4. Your choices

  • Remember this workstation: leave it unticked on shared or public computers. To forget a device, untick it and sign in once, or clear your browser's site data.
  • Blocking cookies: you can block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to sign in, because the session and security cookies are required.
  • Signing out ends your session on that device.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add a cookie or storage item, we will update this page and its version before it is used. Any non-essential cookie will be off by default and require your consent.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy: contact your facility administrator, who can reach the KILINIKI HMIS support team.
