Terms of Use

The rules for using KILINIKI HMIS as an authorised user of a facility.

1. Who may use KILINIKI HMIS

KILINIKI HMIS is provided to healthcare facilities under an agreement with each facility. Only people given an account by their facility may sign in, and only for work they are authorised to do.

Your facility's agreement with KILINIKI HMIS takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

2. Your account

  • Your account is personal. Do not share your password or authenticator codes.
  • Set up and use multi-factor authentication when asked.
  • Sign out of shared computers and do not tick Remember this workstation on them.
  • Tell your facility administrator straight away if you think your account has been misused.

3. Acceptable use

  • Access only the records you need for your role.
  • Do not try to bypass access controls, test security without written permission, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not upload unlawful content or malicious files.

Activity is logged to protect patients and staff. Misuse may lead to your access being suspended and may be reported to your facility.

4. Patient and personal data

Each facility controls the patient data it records. KILINIKI HMIS processes it on the facility's behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy & AI Policy.

Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating professional.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep KILINIKI HMIS available and secure, but there may be planned maintenance or unexpected interruptions. We may update features and these terms; the version and date above show the current terms.

6. Contact

Questions about these terms: contact your facility administrator.
